We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Riviera Beach, Florida. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices, payments, and related financial documents. Job Responsibility:
Organize, verify, and process invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips to ensure accuracy
Manage the preparation and remittance of checks for timely payments
Calculate and record specific charges, such as IT costs, vehicle insurance, and licenses
Monitor accounts payable to maintain up-to-date payments and resolve discrepancies
Generate and distribute 1099 forms as required
Reconcile financial reports to ensure consistent and accurate data
Support cross-training initiatives within accounting processes to enhance team efficiency
Requirements:
Proficiency in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and check runs
Experience in invoice processing and coding with attention to detail
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple financial documents accurately
Familiarity with generating 1099 forms and reconciling financial reports
Ability to monitor accounts payable systems for timely and reliable payments
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and vendors
Prior experience in a manufacturing or related industry is a plus
