We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Brea, California. In this role, you will manage essential accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing invoices and reconciling accounts. Job Responsibility:
Process and review invoices using three-way matching to ensure accuracy and compliance
Perform full-cycle accounts payable duties, including coding, batching, and matching transactions
Handle account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
Execute check runs and ensure timely payment processing
Manage high-volume data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail
Utilize accounting software, such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel, to perform daily operations
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies in invoices or payments
Maintain organized financial documentation and records for auditing purposes
Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to workflow efficiency
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role
Proficiency in three-way matching and invoice coding processes
Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
Familiarity with accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage high-volume workloads and meet tight deadlines
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
A degree in accounting or finance is preferred but not required
