Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support invoice processing and validation efforts. This is a Contract position based in Lenexa, Kansas, and will run for 8-10 weeks. The role requires a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and timeliness in managing financial transactions.

Job Responsibility:

Review and validate invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies
Process invoices efficiently through the accounts payable system
Identify and resolve discrepancies in invoices or payment records
Maintain organized and accurate documentation of transactions
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of payments
Assist in addressing inquiries related to accounts payable tasks
Support the team in meeting deadlines and achieving financial goals
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable or similar financial roles
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in invoice processing and financial systems
Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Effective problem-solving skills for resolving discrepancies
Familiarity with accounting principles and procedures
Commitment to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
