Accounts Payable Clerk

• Process and code invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Perform regular check runs to ensure payments are made to vendors promptly
• Verify and reconcile invoice discrepancies, resolving issues as needed
• Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions using Sage 300
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and approvals for invoices
• Support month-end closing activities by preparing accounts payable reports
• Monitor vendor accounts to ensure up-to-date payments and address outstanding balances
• Utilize P-Vault for document management and recordkeeping
• Assist in audits by providing necessary accounts payable documentation and reports
• Communicate effectively with vendors to address payment inquiries and discrepancies

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role
• Proficiency in coding invoices and managing check runs
• Familiarity with Sage 300 software is required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams
• Experience with document management systems such as P-Vault is preferred
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
