Job Description:

This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations while developing your career. Responsibilities include processing invoices, managing check runs, maintaining records, vendor collaboration, and assisting in audits. Job Responsibility:

Process and review invoices for accuracy and ensure timely payments
Assign appropriate codes to invoices and verify compliance with company policies
Conduct regular check runs and reconcile vendor accounts
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address payment inquiries
Assist in month-end closing processes related to accounts payable
Monitor and update payment schedules to ensure deadlines are met
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company guidelines
Continuously evaluate processes for efficiency and implement improvements as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role
Proficiency in coding invoices and managing check runs
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to process invoices with accuracy and meet deadlines
Familiarity with financial systems and software
Excellent communication skills for vendor and team collaboration
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
Ability to adapt to new processes and tools in a dynamic environment
