Accounts Payable Clerk

• Process incoming invoices by reviewing, verifying, and routing them to appropriate departments for approval
• Match invoices with purchase orders to ensure accuracy and proper coding
• Confirm financial transactions align with company policies and procedures
• Enter vendor invoices into relevant systems with attention to detail
• Handle administrative tasks such as organizing invoices, mailing checks, setting up vendor accounts, and completing credit applications
• Collect and maintain updated W-9 forms and payment details for vendors
• Perform reconciliations of vendor statements and accounts to resolve discrepancies
• Coordinate with operations and vendor teams to address issues and ensure timely processing of invoices
• Support the Accounts Payable Supervisor with additional tasks as needed

• Proficiency in high-volume data entry with a focus on accuracy
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools
• Experience with Acumatica and Netsuite is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and terminology
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and vendors
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and take initiative

Prior experience in auditing is advantageous
