Process and verify invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payments
perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
handle check runs and ensure proper documentation for all disbursements
enter data into accounting systems with precision and efficiency
collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve issues
maintain and organize records for easy retrieval and audit purposes
utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and Oracle to manage accounts payable processes
prepare reports and summaries related to accounts payable activities
support the team in meeting deadlines and adhering to financial policies
contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role
proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Word
familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Oracle
strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
ability to perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
knowledge of coding invoices and processing payments
excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
