Accounts Payable Clerk

• Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• maintain detailed and organized records of accounts payable transactions
• monitor payment schedules to meet deadlines and avoid late fees
• collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and clarify invoice details
• utilize Microsoft Excel to prepare reports and analyze financial data
• assist in reconciling accounts and preparing month-end closing procedures
• communicate effectively with vendors to address payment inquiries and resolve issues
• support the team in implementing improvements to accounts payable processes
• ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and analyze spreadsheets
• previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role
• strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• excellent communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams
• familiarity with accounting principles and financial regulations
• experience with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus
• high school diploma or equivalent
• advanced education in finance or accounting is preferred.
