Accounts Payable Clerk

• Process and verify invoices for accuracy and proper coding to ensure timely payments
• ensure invoices are transferred from email and scanned files to the AP automation system accurately
• conduct regular check runs and reconcile discrepancies in payment records
• maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions for audit readiness
• review and accurately transfer vendor data for new vendor setup
• monitor and enforce compliance with company policies regarding financial transactions
• assist in preparing reports related to accounts payable activities
• collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and resolve queries

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role strongly preferred
• strong attention to detail with the ability to combine speed and accuracy in day-to-day AP functions
• effective communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams
• familiarity with SAP strongly preferred
• ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in payment records
