Job Description:

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Kinnelon, New Jersey. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering the chance to grow within the organization while contributing to essential financial operations. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of tasks, including invoice processing and data analysis, in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Process and manage a high volume of invoices daily, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records
Handle accounts payable functions such as coding invoices, purchase order matching, and check runs
Generate and analyze financial reports to support business decision-making
Utilize tools like Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables and V-lookups for data organization
Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and workflow
Maintain attention to detail in all tasks to prevent errors and discrepancies
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all financial operations.

Requirements:

Prior experience in accounts payable or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use pivot tables and V-lookups
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders
Ability to process large volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently
Familiarity with coding invoices and performing check runs
Capability to generate and interpret financial reports
Flexibility to work on-site during business hours, Monday through Friday.
