Job Description:

We are currently looking for an accounting technician in Vaudreuil-Dorion. Are you the person we're looking for?

Job Responsibility:

Participates in month-end journal entries, reconciliations and general ledger analyses
Reconciles consignment inventories
Prints and monitors internal control reports on a daily basis
Prepares files for internal and external audits
Validates expense reports
Checks cheque media
Reconciles supplier account statements
Enters invoices and credit notes received from suppliers
Supports the Senior Accounts Payable Clerk
Performs all other duties as required

Requirements:

DEC in accounting and/or a relevant university certificate
2-3 years' experience in accounting
Good knowledge of MS Office suite tools (Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams), including pivot tables
Fluency in French and working knowledge of English
Good interpersonal skills
Demonstrate autonomy
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Critical thinking skills
Orderly and meticulous
Ability to manage several files simultaneously
