Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Lenexa, Kansas. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of invoice processing within our accounts payable system. Job Responsibility:

Review and validate invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies
Process invoices through the accounts payable system in a timely manner
Collaborate with team members and vendors to resolve discrepancies or issues
Ensure all financial records are updated and maintained correctly
Assist in monitoring accounts payable workflows to meet deadlines
Maintain organized and accurate documentation for auditing purposes
Provide support for any additional tasks related to accounts payable as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience in accounts payable or a related financial role
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in invoice processing systems and software
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Effective communication skills for resolving invoice discrepancies
Familiarity with basic accounting principles
