We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Frederick, Maryland. The role involves managing essential accounts payable tasks while supporting the team during a busy period.
Job Responsibility:
Process and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
Manage coding of invoices and ensure proper allocation to accounts
Coordinate and execute timely check runs for vendor payments
Maintain detailed records of all accounts payable transactions
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance accounts payable workflows
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies promptly
Requirements:
Familiarity with accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and payment runs
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and tools
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and vendors
Basic knowledge of bill.com is an advantage
Capacity to handle routine tasks with accuracy and efficiency
Flexibility to work both remotely and in-office as required
