Job Description:

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in managing the accounts payable process for various District Associations within the real estate and property industry. Your ability to maintain accuracy, communicate effectively, and adhere to organizational policies will be essential to ensure smooth financial operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process accounts payable transactions for multiple managed District Associations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Review invoice batches for errors in calculations and vendor codes before initiating processing
  • Post invoices, print checks, and distribute payments promptly
  • Match check copies to corresponding invoices and maintain organized vendor files
  • Manage pending files for second weekly processing cycles and ensure timely updates
  • Input W-9 forms and insurance information for new vendors into the system
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors and managers, providing clear and thorough communication
  • Support supervisors with administrative and financial tasks as needed
  • Uphold high ethical standards, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle vendor and management inquiries effectively
  • Proficiency in accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and check printing
  • Experience with property management accounting and software, particularly Yardi
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in financial records
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact at all levels
