Accounts Payable Clerk

• Process and enter invoices into QuickBooks Online with accuracy and efficiency
• Review statements to identify and resolve missing or outstanding invoices
• Ensure proper coding of invoices to the correct accounts
• Perform regular check runs and verify payment schedules
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions
• Communicate with vendors to address discrepancies and clarify payment details
• Support month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts payable records
• Adhere to company policies and procedures related to financial operations
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounts payable processes

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with its features
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
• Excellent typing speed and data entry skills
• Effective organizational and time management abilities
• Construction industry experience is preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and team members
