Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this role, you will be responsible for managing essential accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. This position requires someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Process invoices, ensuring accuracy in coding and batching for timely payments
Review and reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records
Handle check runs and voucher preparation in compliance with company procedures
Maintain vendor accounts and address any discrepancies or inquiries
Prepare expense reports and verify documentation for approval
Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and QuickBooks to manage financial data
Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounts payable transactions
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice-related issues
Support general ledger maintenance and updates
Perform data entry tasks with precision to meet deadlines

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related financial roles
Proficiency in invoice processing, coding, and batching
Familiarity with software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and QuickBooks
Strong understanding of account reconciliation and general ledger processes
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies effectively
Experience with expense report preparation and documentation
High level of accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
