Job Description:

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Sapphire, NC. This is a part - time contract position, and ideal for someone that wants to work with a fantastic, friendly team and have some flexibility in their schedule. If you have a strong background in accounts payables, credit card reconciliations, and working with accounting software, we encourage you to apply.

Job Responsibility:

Perform accurate and timely credit card reconciliations to ensure proper tracking of expenses
Process and code invoices while maintaining compliance with company standards
Enter financial data into accounting systems with precision and attention to detail
Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to manage accounts payable tasks
Conduct routine account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly
Prepare and execute check runs while adhering to established protocols
Collaborate with team members to streamline invoice processing workflows
Apply Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions for auditing purposes
Support month-end and year-end financial processes as needed

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or similar roles
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software, such as SAP or Oracle
Strong skills in coding invoices and performing account reconciliations
Familiarity with check runs and invoice processing procedures
Competence in data entry with attention to accuracy and detail
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial reporting
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent organizational and communication skills
