Job Description:

This job offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment in the telecom services industry by ensuring accurate and efficient management of financial transactions. It involves tasks such as processing vendor invoices, maintaining financial records, preparing vendor payments, and supporting audits.

Job Responsibility:

Process and record vendor invoices with accuracy and efficiency
Maintain and update financial records to ensure completeness and compliance
Prepare and issue payments to vendors in a timely manner
Perform credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting
Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and assistance
Assist the finance team with budgeting and cash flow management tasks
Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and resolve any discrepancies
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar accounting role
Proficiency in accounting software, including Excel and Great Plains Accounting
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounts payable processes
Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial tasks
Analytical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues effectively
Ability to adapt quickly to new software and accounting systems
Solid communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Familiarity with tasks such as account reconciliation, invoice coding, and check runs.
