The role includes handling payroll tasks and assisting with monthly financial closings, journal entries, and related duties.
Job Responsibility:
Process and manage accounts payable transactions with accuracy and efficiency
Perform payroll-related tasks, including calculations and timely disbursements
Assist in monthly financial closings by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
Maintain organized and up-to-date bookkeeping records
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoices and payments
Prepare reports and summaries related to accounts payable and payroll
Support the implementation of new processes to enhance efficiency
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
Provide assistance with additional accounting responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounts payable functions
Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles
Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
Nice to have:
Familiarity with journal entries and financial closings is preferred
