Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping. You will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of our accounts payable processes.

Job Responsibility:

Process and verify invoices while ensuring proper coding and data accuracy
manage account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
handle check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors
enter financial data into systems with precision and attention to detail
monitor outstanding invoices and resolve discrepancies promptly
collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies
utilize Oracle and Microsoft Excel to manage financial records and reporting
support audits by preparing and organizing relevant documentation
maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field
proficiency in invoice processing, coding, and data entry
strong knowledge of account reconciliation and check run procedures
advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with Oracle software
exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and vendors
