Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Fairfield, Ohio. This role involves managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining account reconciliations. Job Responsibility:

Process and verify invoices for payment while ensuring compliance with company standards
Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
Execute regular check runs and monitor payment schedules
Code and enter invoices into the accounting system with precision
Maintain organized financial documentation for auditing and reporting purposes
Ensure timely resolution of discrepancies related to vendor accounts
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to address payment inquiries
Utilize Dynamics SL and Excel for efficient data management
Support the preparation of financial reports as needed
Assist with other accounts payable tasks to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role
Proficiency in Excel and Dynamics SL
Strong understanding of coding invoices and reconciling accounts
Ability to handle check runs and ensure timely payments
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with invoice processing and financial documentation management
