Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Center of Excellence Project Manager will be a part of dedicated organizational unit that centralizes expertise, processes, and best practices for accounts payable functions to drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across an organization. AP Center of Excellence will act as a hub for specialized knowledge, will implement standardized methodologies and invest in relevant technology.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate the planning, development, and implementation of the AP CoE
  • Drive process standardization, automation, and optimization within the AP function
  • Ensure the AP CoE aligns with the overall strategic goals of Teradyne Finance
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive plan for the AP CoE
  • Achieve process standardization and automation within the AP function
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Consolidate AP tasks currently performed by decentralized groups into the AP CoE
  • Collaborate with other groups to ensure seamless integration of AP processes
  • Develop and implement AP policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and accounting standards
  • Direct process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the AP function
  • Develop, implement and evaluate AP metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement
  • Implement regular process and performance review to improve performance and disseminate knowledge
  • Ensure effective use of technology and automation tools to streamline AP processes

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role
  • Must have a strong knowledge of AP processes and best practices
  • Strong systematic and problem-solving skills
  • Effective organizational, guidance and team management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent English, in verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work well alone and take initiative
  • Proficiency in AP automation tools and ERP systems

Nice to have:

  • Experience in directing and managing a team is a plus
  • Experience in setting up or managing a CoE is a plus
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus
