Job Description

Our client, a global fashion company, is looking for an Accounts Payable Associate to join their team! This will be a hybrid role working out of their office in Midtown. The successful candidate will a strong understanding of invoicing and expense tracking, the ability to work independently, and can thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.

Job Responsibility

  • Process invoices for various departments
  • Ensuring accurate payments made electronically or by check
  • Respond and resolve vendor and departmental inquiries
  • Perform monthly reconciliations by reviewing aging reports, journal entries, and payment clearing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business concentration
  • 2+ years of corporate accounts payable experience ideally within the retail, fashion, or beauty industries
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, etc.)
  • Prior experience using SAP
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
