Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in Carmel, Indiana. In this role, you will manage invoice processing, payment preparation, and account reconciliation to ensure the smooth operation of financial transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment within the real estate property management industry.

Job Responsibility:

Verify and review invoices and payment requests for accuracy
organize, code, and match invoices to ensure proper documentation
schedule and process payments, including electronic transfers and check runs
enter and upload invoices into financial systems efficiently
perform check runs and prepare manual checks when necessary
post transactions to the general ledger and maintain cash account records
manage the preparation and timely payment of loans and real estate taxes
reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies
maintain accurate vendor files and ensure proper correspondence with vendors and employees
conduct monthly reconciliations for bank statements and general ledger accounts.

Requirements:

Proficiency in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and payment preparation
strong skills in account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies
experience with financial software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle
advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
ability to perform check runs and manage electronic payment systems
exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
familiarity with cash management principles and procedures
excellent communication skills for vendor and employee correspondence
