Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Assistant is responsible for managing financial data, ensuring compliance with SOPs, and supporting audit processes at Le Méridien Putrajaya. This role involves maintaining financial records, assisting in end-period procedures, and liaising with banking institutions while adhering to the company's professional standards and policies.

Job Responsibility:

Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents
record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information
classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data
complete period-end closing procedures
audit cashier banks periodically
maintain, distribute, and record petty cash and cashier banks
document and act upon cash variances
liaise between property and armored car service or banking institution
participate in audits to ensure compliance
develop and maintain positive working relationships
protect company and guest assets.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
proficiency in clear and professional communication
ability to prepare and review written documents accurately
ability to use computers to analyze financial data
knowledge of period-end closing procedures
ability to comply with SOPs.
