Job Description:

This role involves overseeing operational staff, managing full-cycle accounts payable processes, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee operations staff to ensure completion of all accounts payable and payroll functions for both domestic and international entities
  • Manage the complete accounts payable process, guaranteeing on-time and accurate payments to vendors
  • Foster and maintain vendor relationships, rectify payment discrepancies, and negotiate payment terms as necessary
  • Develop and implement accounts payable policies to enhance efficiency, compliance, and internal controls
  • Administer the corporate credit card program, including issuing cards, monitoring usage, and ensuring adherence to company policies
  • Audit and reconcile monthly credit card statements, identify and resolve any discrepancies
  • Work with employees to ensure proper documentation and approvals for credit card expenses
  • Manage the employee expense reimbursement process, ensuring prompt processing and adherence to company policies
  • Review and audit expense reports for accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency
  • Accurately and timely process domestic and international payroll, including salary payments, tax withholdings, and benefits deductions
  • Collaborate with HR and external payroll providers to ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations in various jurisdictions
  • Resolve payroll-related issues, discrepancies, and employee inquiries promptly
  • Implement and maintain payroll controls and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize workflows and improve financial systems
  • Assist with audit inquiries and provide necessary documentation for compliance and reporting
  • Provide leadership to Accounts Payable and Payroll teams, set goals, monitor performance, and foster detail-oriented development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5 + years of experience in Accounts Payable and Multi-State Payroll
  • Expertise in using accounting software systems
  • Thorough understanding of accounting functions
  • Extensive experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Knowledge of UKG Pro
