Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Accountant oversees the company’s outgoing payments, offers process improvement ideas, and supports audits and reporting deadlines.

Job Responsibility:

Process and verify vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and monitor credit opportunities
Validate vendor invoices, ensuring proper sales tax application and expense allocation
Uphold documented procedures and assist in their maintenance
Perform three-way matches (invoice, purchase order, receipt) where applicable
Ensure compliance with confidentiality protocols and positive pay processes
Reconcile credit card transactions and intercompany AP balances
Assist with audit preparations and contribute to organizational goals

Requirements:

Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
Ability to perform various Accounting Functions
Knowledge of SAP software
Capability to create and manage Journal Entries
Experience in conducting Reconciliations
