Job Description

As our Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, supporting month-end reporting, and assisting the Finance team with maintaining accurate financial records. You’ll work closely with department managers to ensure timely processing of invoices, reconciliations, and reporting.

Job Responsibility

  • Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Managing supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations
  • Daily banking and cash flow reconciliations
  • Assisting with payroll preparation and compliance requirements
  • Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and internal departments to resolve queries
  • Providing general administrative and finance support to the Finance team

Requirements

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Experienced in accounts payable/receivable (hospitality experience highly regarded)
  • Confident with accounting software and Excel
  • Knowledgeable in financial compliance and reporting requirements
  • Strong communicator and problem-solver with the ability to build positive working relationships
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently as well as in a team
