Accounts Officer

• Accounts Payable: Full-function processing of 150+ invoices per week, including 3-way matching, coding, and managing weekly payment runs
• Accounts Receivable: Managing the sales ledger from invoicing through to receipting. This includes engaging with key stakeholders to facilitate the timely resolution of outstanding accounts to maintain liquidity
• Reconciliations: Investigating and resolving complex ledger discrepancies through diligent analysis and performing monthly credit card and bank reconciliations
• Month-End Support: Assisting the Assistant Accountant with accruals, prepayments, and the initial preparation of GST data
• ERP Maintenance: Utilizing Xero/MYOB Advanced (or similar) to ensure all data is "audit-ready" and accurately reflected in the general ledger

• At least 3+ years in a full-function AP/AR or Accounts Clerk role within the commercial landscape
• Strong ERP proficiency and an understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
• You are likely based in the South East and looking to cut down your commute to the CBD while maintaining a professional, corporate career path
• A high degree of accuracy, a proactive approach to debt collection, and the ability to work effectively under month-end pressure

Accounting/Finance qualification desirable but non-essential

• Avoid the Monash traffic with a role closer to home, complete with on-site parking
