Job Description:

We are seeking a detail orientated, self-starter, who has strengths for efficient processing of accounts payable, accuracy for data entry and systems maintenance, plus good organisational and communication skills to contribute to the financial operations of our organisation. In this position, assist in maintaining the integrity of our accounting practices, through alignment to organisational polices and practices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process and electronically prepare invoices for payment
  • Prepare GST and PAYG tax payments and lodgments
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Maintain supplier records and contact details
  • Administer the vehicle fleet, including servicing schedules and insurance records
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries
  • Complete administrative and reporting tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Contribute to organisational planning, performance reviews and risk mitigation strategies
  • Perform monthly billings reconciliation, resolving Medicare batch errors and adjusting entries using Best Practice software

Requirements:

  • Relevant certificate level qualifications and/or working experience in accounts payable
  • An understanding of working with confidential documents and established work processes
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft and database programs and accountancy software packages

Experience using Reckon accounting software or similar
