Job Responsibility:
Preparing monthly management accounts that help steer key business decisions
Handling balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and journals
Taking charge of VAT returns and compliance
Performing bank and accounts reconciliations with accuracy
Ensuring full compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
Processing sales and purchase invoices
Leading and supporting a small, close-knit accounts team
Managing payroll and pensions for 60+ employees
Working full-time (37.5 hours/week) with the flexibility of hybrid working
Requirements:
Solid experience in a legal finance or solicitors’ accounts environment in the same role is essential
Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR)
Proficiency with Proclaim and Sage software
A detail-oriented mindset and strong leadership skills
A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving abilities
