Job Description

Join our office in Stamford to manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring a high standard of professionalism and quality of service. Support the business to effectively meet targets and maintain standards in line with relevant accounting guidelines.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the management of a portfolio of account clients ensuring timely submission of financial statements and tax returns
  • Develop and maintain effective client relationships, including attending client meetings
  • Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, charities and limited companies
  • Produce year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in accordance with the relevant accounting standards
  • Support the organisation of the flow of work, taking into consideration resourcing requirements
  • Ensure that work is delivered with budget and time requirements
  • Provide assistance in the development of junior staff
  • Prepare schedules for tax returns
  • Complete VAT returns

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA qualified
  • General Practice experience
  • Ability to travel to client premises and between offices
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, yet also work using own initiative when required
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
