Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive Client Portfolio Manager to take responsibility for a diverse portfolio of clients. This position suits a capable practice accountant who enjoys owning client relationships, working through challenges, and delivering accurate, high-quality work end to end. You will oversee your own client portfolio, acting as a trusted adviser and ensuring all compliance obligations are met efficiently and to a high standard.

Job Responsibility:

  • Overseeing a portfolio of Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies
  • Preparing and filing statutory accounts, tax returns (corporation and personal), VAT returns, and CIS
  • Serving as the main point of contact and building long-term client relationships
  • Responding to client queries with clear, practical solutions

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
  • A minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
  • Confident in using cloud software/ Xero, Quickbooks, etc
  • Strong UK Accounting and tax compliance knowledge
