Job Description

Xpert Resourcing are delighted to be recruiting this key role into the Accounts team where you will work closely with the team and help to process, assist with year end duties and provide day to day accounts support.

Job Responsibility

  • Preparing monthly management accounts – journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Stock and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Fixed Asset Register and preparation of VAT returns
  • General bookkeeping duties and Purchase Ledger maintenance
  • Using accounting software to maintain accurate financial records and Excel to manipulate and analyse data, including lookups and pivot tables
  • To assist with the preparation of ad-hoc projects and reporting
  • Assist with audit preparation, compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
  • Covering for other members of the Finance Department during absences

Requirements

  • ACCA or CIMA qualified or part qualified
  • AAT Qualified will also be considered
  • Previous experience in an Accounting or Finance role
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel (including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs), Word, SharePoint and PowerPoint
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing financial transactions and preparing reports
