The Account Director is responsible for driving growth and expanding Cloud Carib’s footprint in the Public Sector and Enterprise markets within an assigned territory.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in government agencies and enterprise organizations, ensuring long-term business partnerships
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the public sector and enterprise space, meeting or exceeding sales targets
Understand client needs and align our products and services to deliver tailored solutions that drive value
Navigate complex procurement processes, relationship dynamics, government regulations, and compliance requirements to secure contracts
Work with enterprise clients to develop customized solutions, leveraging industry insights and business intelligence
Partner with internal teams, including marketing, product, legal, and customer success, to deliver seamless client experiences
Lead negotiations, RFP responses, and deal structuring to ensure profitable agreements
Track key account metrics, identify opportunities for growth, and proactively address challenges
Requirements:
Minimum of 7-10 years in account management, sales, or business development, with a focus on public sector and enterprise clients
Strong understanding of government procurement, contract vehicles, and enterprise sales cycles
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives, procurement officers, and IT decision-makers
Demonstrated success in achieving sales quotas and driving revenue growth in a competitive market
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to understand and articulate complex technology or service-based solutions
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public administration, or a related field (MBA preferred)
Nice to have:
Experience selling SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, or IT solutions to public sector and enterprise clients
Familiarity with GSA schedules, cooperative purchasing agreements, and government funding sources
Strong network within government agencies and enterprise organizations
