Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join a professional services team within the accounting and finance department. The role is based in West Worthing/Durrington and requires expertise in managing financial client transactions in a busy environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including bank reconciliations and client account management
  • Process payments, receipts, and transfers accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of financial activities and client accounts
  • Handle queries related to accounts and liaise with internal departments
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting documentation
  • Support the wider accounting and finance team in Worthing with administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the professional services industry
  • AAT or similar or intending to study
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment in Worthing
