Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Ledger Clerk / Assistant Accountant to join our client's finance team of 5. This role is crucial in supporting the Senior Financial / Management Accountant and ensuring the production of accurate and timely financial information.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain the tenant's ledger, including preparing pre-lists, producing rent demands, handling tenant queries, and processing rent variation orders
Collaborate with portfolio managers on credit control and participate in regular meetings
Manage the sales ledger by producing invoices, banking, processing receipts from customers, and undertaking sales ledger credit control
Perform banking and petty cash duties
Undertake ad-hoc assignments, reconciliations, and accountancy work as required
Assist estate office employees to enhance the performance of their duties and the effective management of the site
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of accounting and other associated records

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role within a finance team
Strong understanding of sales and tenant ledger management
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficiency in relevant accounting software and MS Office Suite
