We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Akurala. The ideal candidate will assist with daily accounting operations, financial record management, and reporting to ensure smooth financial processes and compliance with company standards.
Job Responsibility:
Data Entry: Enter financial transactions, invoices, and payments accurately into accounting software or ledgers
Record Keeping: Maintain organized digital and physical financial records, including receipts and ledgers
Bank & Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and verify the accuracy of financial data
Invoicing & Payments: Prepare and issue invoices to customers, manage accounts payable and receivable, and process payments
Expense Management: Process employee expense claims, manage petty cash, and prepare expense reports
Payroll Support: Assist in payroll processing, verifying attendance, deductions, and ensuring timely salary disbursement
Finance Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by ensuring financial records comply with company and statutory requirements
Requirements:
Female candidate aged 25 – 30 years
Graduate in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role
Proficient in MS Office and basic accounting software
