A rapidly expanding organisation is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator to support both their UK and German entities. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in goods, manufacturing, or distribution environments, offering exposure to European VAT, EU markets, and high‑volume transactional finance. The successful candidate will join a growing team and play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations across multiple markets.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Complete bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Manage high‑volume marketplace seller accounts and associated transactions
Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial reports
Monitor financial activity to ensure compliance with internal standards
Support payroll processing and ensure timely payments
Perform general finance administration as required
Requirements:
Experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant, or similar finance role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency with accounting software (Xero, Zoho, unleashed)
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Exposure to European VAT, EU markets
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
Strong analytical skills and able to work under pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication
Nice to have:
AAT or similar qualifications are beneficial but not essential
