Job Description

We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding national business based in Blackpool. This is a full-time, office-based role due to expansion. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Administrator to provide a central administration service reporting directly to the Finance and Administration Manager. You will work closely with all departments to provide a vital link to support business operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Handling bookkeeping tasks such as sales invoicing and processing transactions
  • Collecting and reconciling receipts and managing the company’s fixed asset register
  • Carrying out general office administration duties
  • Managing office purchases, orders, and supplier relationships
  • Overseeing utility contracts, obtaining quotes, and liaising with external contractors

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar accounting role
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise workload and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive approach to problem – solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
