Job Description:

This Accounts Administrator role is suited to an experienced finance professional who understands the operational requirements of a financial services environment. This is a dual-focus position, combining core finance responsibilities with a significant Lending Administrator function (approximately 0.5 FTE). You will play a key role supporting the Lending Team and Client Engagement Team, ensuring loan transactions are processed accurately and efficiently and that client administration is handled to a high standard. Working closely with the Finance Manager and lending staff, you’ll help ensure smooth day-to-day operations, maintain strong financial controls, and support compliance requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Daily bank reconciliations and cash processing
  • Accounts payable, invoicing, and general finance administration
  • Maintain accurate financial records within Xero and Finpower
  • Assist with month-end processes and reporting
  • Identify process improvements and strengthen financial controls
  • Support the Lending Team with loan setup, drawdowns, and repayments
  • Prepare and process lending documentation and system entries
  • Maintain accurate loan records and client information
  • Coordinate closely with the Client Engagement Team on client transactions and queries
  • Monitor lending transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Provide administrative support across the lending lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounts or finance administration within financial services
  • Experience supporting loan administration, credit processing, or lending operations
  • Strong understanding of reconciliations, cash management, and financial transaction processing
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Confidence working with financial systems (Xero, loan management systems, or similar)
  • A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and work independently
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused mindset
