Job Responsibility
Managing purchase and sales ledgers
Processing invoices, supplier payments, and expenses
Supporting credit control and bank reconciliations
Assisting with month-end procedures and VAT returns
Monitoring and managing the accounts inbox
Updating supplier records and maintaining accurate documentation
Filing, scanning, and providing general office support
Handling incoming calls and visitor enquiries
Maintaining workwear and equipment inventory
Supporting compliance with ISO 9001 auditing processes
Maintaining employee records and personnel files
Assisting with recruitment administration and onboarding
Supporting payroll administration including holiday approvals and sickness records
Requirements
Previous administration experience, ideally within accounts or finance
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
Professional and confidential approach
Confident communication skills with the ability to work across departments
Good Microsoft Office skills
Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks would be advantageous
Full UK driving licence or reliable transport required due to limited public transport links
Two references required
Subject to satisfactory basic DBS check
