Accounting Technician

• Processing full payroll using accounting software
• Bank reconciliations (credit cards and expense accounts)
• Government remittances (DAS, GST-QST, and CCQ)
• Managing accounts payable and ensuring thorough follow-ups
• Project-based accounting – opening new files
• Balancing account statements
• Month-end closing and financial statement preparation
• Preparing T4s, Relevé 1, and other year-end documents
• Any other related tasks

• DEC, AEC, or DEP in accounting or any other relevant certification
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in a construction company (an asset)
• Positive attitude and dynamism
• Strong organizational skills
