Our client in Pittsburgh is seeking an Accounting System Analyst on a temp to perm basis.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with the transition to a new accounting system by gathering, organizing, and preparing financial information such as vendor details, customer data, and general ledger accounts to support accurate data transfer
  • Contribute to system testing efforts by reviewing data mappings, checking converted information, and confirming that results meet accounting and operational requirements
  • Provide general support to the Corporate Accounting team by taking on routine business unit tasks, helping maintain workflow while team members focus on system‑related activities and project deadlines
  • Offer guidance and training to finance staff on the use of Oracle and associated tools as needed
  • Help update and draft revised procedures and policies to reflect new processes introduced through the system implementation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MIS, or another related discipline
  • 2-4 years of experience working in accounting functions or supporting financial systems
  • Strong knowledge of core accounting concepts and reporting requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information, solve problems, and communicate clearly with various stakeholders
  • Comfortable working independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast‑moving environment
