Job Description

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day shared services operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Travel & Entertainment (T&E). This role will supervise a team of 7-8 professionals and ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and strong financial controls. This is a hands-on supervisory position with a primary focus on strengthening AR processes while maintaining stability within AP and expense management.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervise daily operations across Accounts Payable (approx. 1,500 invoices/month)
  • Accounts Receivable (approx. 500 invoices/month) – top priority
  • Expense Reporting / T&E (approx. 900 reports/month)
  • Lead and mentor a team of 7-8 shared services professionals
  • Improve AR processes and address current operational challenges
  • Oversee month-end close activities related to AP/AR
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
  • Partner with leadership to maintain service levels and improve efficiency
  • Utilize Workday ERP for transactional processing and reporting

Requirements

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience within AP/AR operations
  • Strong hands-on experience with Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable (must be strong in AR)
  • Expense reporting / T&E oversight
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred (relevant experience acceptable in lieu of degree)
  • Experience working in Workday strongly preferred
