Job Description:

We are currently recruiting an energetic, results-focused, post-secondary Accounting Student to join our team this summer! This position offers an opportunity to gain experience and to learn more about our Accounting team, the Company, and the industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare monthly working papers to support financial reporting requirements
  • Assist with year-end working papers, including gathering documentation
  • Perform expense analysis and prepare summary supports
  • Prepare journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation
  • Complete account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items
  • Support the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education with a focus on Accounting or Finance
  • Detail oriented with a passion for working with numbers and data entry
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to meet changing work needs and demands
  • Ability to work independently and work effectively as a team player
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to thrive in a multi-tasking, deadline oriented, high volume, and fast-paced environment
  • PC skills - Windows, MS Office Suite, Excel
