We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. Based in Londonderry, New Hampshire, this role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential accounting operations while collaborating across departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions.
Job Responsibility:
Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices
Oversee accounts receivable tasks, including tracking payments and resolving discrepancies
Perform billing functions, including invoice preparation and distribution
Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards
Maintain accurate accounting records and support general accounting operations
Utilize QuickBooks software to manage financial transactions and reporting
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
Support cross-training initiatives to ensure continuity in accounting operations
Address and resolve any issues related to account discrepancies or payment delays
Prepare financial reports as needed to assist in decision-making and planning
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Strong knowledge of billing functions and account reconciliation
Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices
Experience using QuickBooks for financial management
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management abilities
