We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join a busy onsite team in Aston, Pennsylvania, in a contract-to-permanent role. Job Responsibility:
Oversee a substantial volume of department transactions related to inventory activity, repair processing, and internal production orders with a strong focus on timeliness and precision
Provide daily accounting and administrative support by entering data, updating records, and ensuring documentation is complete and properly maintained
Assist with weekly collections follow-up, including light outreach and tracking of outstanding items for a limited portion of the workweek
Keep transaction files and supporting documents organized so department activity can be reviewed, reconciled, and processed efficiently
Partner with team members across the operation to help maintain workflow consistency and support ongoing departmental needs
Build knowledge of additional desk responsibilities over time to strengthen coverage across the team
Step in as backup support for accounts receivable and logistics-related tasks when business demands require added assistance
Help identify discrepancies in financial or operational records and work with internal contacts to resolve issues promptly
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in accounting support, office administration, customer service, or a related operational role
Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume transactional work while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Familiarity with core accounting activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing support, reconciliation, or general accounting functions
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to shifting daily demands
Clear written and verbal communication skills for working effectively with internal teams and supporting follow-up activities
Comfort working onsite in a fast-paced department environment with a mix of accounting and administrative responsibilities
Previous exposure to inventory processes, production order support, logistics coordination, or receivables functions is preferred
