Job Description:

Robert Half is looking for a dedicated Accounting Specialist to join a fun and dynamic client company in the Reno/Sparks area. In this role, you will manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate data entry and timely payments. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a fully onsite role and is contract to permanent.

Job Responsibility:

Process and review invoices, verifying their accuracy and compliance with company policies
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Prepare and issue payments to vendors through checks or electronic transfers
Monitor accounts receivable, promptly sending invoices and tracking outstanding balances
Follow up with customers on overdue payments to ensure timely collection
Record and reconcile credit card receipts to maintain accurate accounts
Collaborate with the sales team to review and process expense reports
Ensure expense reports are complete and ready for reimbursement submission

Requirements:

Manufacturing experience is required for this role
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Experience with QuickBooks is a must
Minimum of three years of experience in accounts payable and receivable processes
Strong knowledge of accounting software systems and billing functions
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
