Accounting Specialist

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, invoicing, and reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
• Assist with monthly and quarterly closings, including general ledger updates
• Reconcile bank statements and assist with cash flow tracking
• Help prepare financial statements and internal reports
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide financial support as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency with accounting software
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and transactional processes
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a part-time capacity
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Availability to work [20 hours/week, flexible daytime hours]
• Payroll or tax filing experience is a plus
